Start with a square sheet of origami paper. I am using an 7×7 inches origami paper.

Fold the paper in half by moving the bottom right corner toward the top left.

Unfold.

Fold the paper in half by moving the top right corner toward the bottom left.

Unfold.

Do a mountain fold by folding the top half of the paper away from you.

Use your index fingers to gently pop in the center.

Bring the left and right edges together.

After bringing the left and right edges together, a triangle will form.

Flatten the fold.

Fold the right top flap up a little at an angle far away from the top corner.
