Easy Origami Cat Face

Follow our easy step-by-step guide to create an adorable paper kitty—fun for all ages!

The paper cat face will be ready in a few minutes. You need a sheet of paper, preferably colored, a pen or a pencil and with very little effort you will learn to fold the paper in the shape of a cat’s head.

And if you want to go to things a little more complicated, you can try to create an origami cat. I’m sure that children will be delighted by both of your creations.

Start with a square piece of colored paper. I am using an 7×7 inches origami paper.

If you only have regular paper, follow these instructions on how to make a square origami paper.

Rotate the paper diagonally as shown.

Fold the bottom corner to the top corner.

Unfold. We just needed the middle crease.

Fold the top corner to the center crease.

Fold the edge down and then fold the left corner to the right corner to create a center crease.

Fold the top corner down about a thumb’s width.

Fold the right flap upward and diagonal.

Turn the model over and draw the cat’s face, and you’re all done!
