Easy Origami Pikachu Instructions

Make a cute origami Pikachu with our easy tutorial! Quick, fun, and perfect for kids, fans, and anyone new to paper folding.

Create your very own origami Pikachu from the very famous Pokemon series and bring it everywhere with you. Origami Pikachus make great pets because they don’t accidently shock you while sitting in your pocket.

It’s okay to use plain white paper and color with crayons, but you can also print a colored, square paper from the Printable Origami Paper page if you like.

Step 1

Start with a square piece of origami paper. I am using an 7×7 inches origami paper.

If you only have regular paper, follow these instructions on how to make a square origami paper.

Step 2

Move the paper diagonally.

Step 3

Fold the left half to the right.

Step 4

Unfold.

Step 5

Fold the bottom half to the top.

Step 6

Fold both layers of the top triangle corner to the bottom edge. Make sure the tip of the corner lines up with the vertical crease in the center.

Step 7

Fold the left side up diagonally towards the center.

Step 8

Fold the left side up diagonally towards the center.

Step 9

Fold the left corner to the center.

Step 10

Fold the right corner to the center.

Step 11

Fold the left ear diagonally to the side.

Step 12

Fold the right ear to the side.

Step 13

Fold the bottom corner up to flatten the origami pikachu’s chin. Fold in the pointy cheeks.

Step 14

Turn the figure over.

Step 15

Draw the face. Pika! Pika!
