Start with a square sheet of origami paper. I am using an 7×7 inches origami paper.

Rotate the paper to make it resemble a diamond.

Fold it in half by moving the left corner toward the right.

Unfold.

Fold the bottom right corner to the center crease.

Fold the bottom left corner to the center crease.

Turn the paper over.

Fold the top right edge to the center crease.

Fold the top left edge to the center crease.

Turn the paper over.

Fold the bottom corner toward the top.

Fold the top corner down as shown.
