How to Make a Paper Helicopter

Paper HelicopterFollow instructions for how to make a paper helicopter.
Difficulty: Easy!

This paper helicopter is not really origami because it requires scissors to make, so I hesitate to call it an origami helicopter. The paper helicopter is a fairly simple model to make and is very fun to play with. Toss it in the air and you can watch it spin as it floats down gently. It's one of the coolest things you can make out of a small piece of paper.

You can make the paper helicopter as small or as big as you like, but I recommend starting out small so you try out different propeller and base shapes and sizes without wasting too much paper. You can make thinner, thicker, or longer propellers and bases to see how well the variations perform. Now follow the instructions below to learn how to make a paper helicopter that floats and spins!
