Step 8Step 8-2 Step 8: Fold the bottom left and right edges to the center.

Step 10Step 10-2Step 10-3 Step 10: Open the the top layer from the bottom and lift it all the way up while folding in the sides.
Step 11 Step 11: Turn the paper over.
Step 12 Step 12: Fold the left and right edges to the center.
Step 13Step 13-2 Step 13: Again, fold the thick triangle down, then unfold all three flaps.
Step 14Step 14-2 Step 14: Lift the bottom up to open while folding in the sides.
Step 15Step 15-2 Step 15: Fold down the front and back top flaps and the bird base is complete.
