Origami Fish Base Instructions

This origami fish base is a starting point for certain fish models, but it can certainly be used as a starting point for other origami models as well.

	Step 1: With a square sheet of origami paper rotated like a diamond, fold the top half down, then unfold. If you only have regular paper, follow these instructions to make a square sheet
	Step 2: Fold the left half to the right, then unfold.
	Step 3: Fold the top left and right edges to the center, then unfold.
	Step 4: Fold the bottom left and right edges to the center.
	Step 5: Turn the paper over and fold the bottom point to the top point.
	Step 6: Turn the paper over again.
	Step 7: Open and fold down the left flap while creasing the inside corner. Then do the same to the right flap.
	Step 8: Fold the back layer back down to complete the fish base.
