Create a house of paper with these easy origami house instructions. Most of the folds are pretty simple except the the roof overhang is a little tricky if this is your first time. But don’t worry because I’ve created easy instructions with pictures every step of the way.
Easy Origami House Instructions

Fold an origami house with this easy guide! Perfect for beginners, this step-by-step tutorial will have you crafting a paper house in no time.
Step 1

Begin with a square sheet of origami paper. I am using an 7×7 inches origami sheet.

Fold the paper in half from left edge to right edge.

Unfold.

Once again, fold in half from top to bottom edge.

Now unfold. We just need creases.

Fold the bottom edge to the center as you see in the image.

Now fold the top edge to the center.

Turn the figure over.

Fold the right edge to the center.

Fold the left edge to the center.

Time for the tricky roof overhang. Open the top left and right flaps.

Spread out the corner of right flap to the side, and flatten down like you see in the picture.

Repeat the same step on left side too.

Turn the house over.
