How to Make an Origami Shark?
Step 1: Start with a square piece from a rectangular sheet of paper. | |
Step 2: Fold paper in half by folding the bottom corner to top corner. | |
Step 3: Rotate the paper, fold the paper in half again from bottom to top corner. | |
Step 4: Fold the left edge of the triangle to the bottom edge, then unfold. We only need the crease line. | |
Step 5: Fold the bottom corner to the crease line you’ve just created. | |
Step 6: Unfold the paper. | |
Step 7: Fold the right corner edge about a thumb’s width. | |
Step 8: Fold the top corner and left corner edge diagonally then unfold. Do the same thing to the right side. | |
Step 9: Fold together to the center the left and right creases you created. Then flip the tip flap. | |
Step 10: Rotate the paper, do the same thing from Step 8 and 9. Fold the top corner and left and right corner edge diagonally then unfold. Fold together to the center the left and right creases you created. | |
Step 11: Fold the left edge corner diagonally doing the same left and right diagonal fold. Fold the tip forward and backwards as well. | |
Step 12: Turn the paper over. Fold the paper to the center crease line. | |
Step 13: Fold the paper in half. | |
Step 14: Fold the bottom flap up. Turn the paper over, do the same thing to the other side. | |
Step 15: Fold the small diagonal tip on the right side inward. | |
Step 16: Fold the pointy top edge down then inward. | |
Step 17: Repeat the same steps from Step 15-16 to the other side of the paper. | |
Step 18: Open up the bottom of the paper. Fold the top left right corner, then fold back again. | |
Step 19: At the bottom edge of the paper, fold in diagonally to make a tail. Open up the paper, then push the center crease. | |
Step 20: Push the bottom pointy bottom paper upwards then push it again backwards so that they become level with the diagonal crease you just made. | |
Step 21: Fold up about a thumb’s width from the right. Then open up the sides and fold. | |
Step 22: Draw eyes for both sides and you’re all done. Now you have an Origami Shark! |
